The joke on this page is actually a joke from a comic book my brother made about the history of my family (in addition to some Indian and world history).
Note for the Uninformed: The currency (large denomination) in India is called the Indian rupee. There are 100 paise in a rupee. One US dollar is usually worth about 50 Indian rupees. (Click here if you're looking for an exact exchange rate.)
A little boy from our family is talking to his dad.
Boy: Dad, can we buy that bread?
Dad: TEN PAISE!! Are you crazy?!!
